Mónika Karsai
{
traditional Thai masseur, medical therapeutist, professional director}
She spent years in Thailand, where she was introduced to the principles of Thai massage by local masters. “I owe a debt of gratitude to Dear Nang Euan Mom, who had selected me and treating me as her daughter was teaching me for years”-she said. Later in the Bangkok Wat Po massage school she obtained all international degrees related to traditional Thai massage, and even since then she looks up new masters every year to further widen her present knowledge. In Hungary, she graduated as a Health Development Therapeutist at Natura Holisztikum Private University in 2005.
“I already got into contact with Buddhism earlier, but the real change came into my life during the years I spent in Thailand, where I realized and understood it. Today I can also apply the “real” Metta that features Thai massage” (Metta: ).
Dr. Rácz Edit, the chief anesthesiologist and pain therapeutist of Péterfy Sándor Hospital, had a significant impact on her Thai massage activity and became her main mentor during the past few years. Thai massage can provide huge improvement in detoxication, in the condition and mood of patients confined to bed and in the recovery and rehabilitation of locomotor disorders. A large number of consultations proved to verify the high correlation between the diagnostic results obtained by Thai massage (especially sole massage based on the massage of excreta depositions) and instrumental analyses. The greatest improvement is seen on locomotor disorders, muscular distrophy, and recently developed (not longer than 1 month) paralysis.
